Tricia deCaux's passion for patchwork and quilting led her to open Almond Grove Crafts in May 2000 from their family farm located 8kms out of Loxton. Due to the strong growth of the business it was necessaray to move to larger premises so they re-located the business into the town in 2006. Almond Grove Crafts is now one of the largest quilting stores in South Australia, offering a fantastic range of products.

Tricia's creativity and love of patchwork and quilting reflects in the products she offers, to inspire, extend and develop the creativity within you.

Tricia's love and talent of sewing started when she was 8 years old and was encouraged in these skills by her Grandma and Mum who were also artistically gifted.

Tricia excelled in needlework throughout her school years and upon leaving school did a TAFE course in dressmaking.

This course gave Tricia a great background in textiles and design and helped her develop her own style of creativity.

Mark and Tricia met in 1983 and were married in 1986. They moved to the Riverland onto their Almond property in 1989.

Tricia ran a dressmaking business from her home for 10 years and during that time developed a love of patchwork and quilting. An addiction of this craft led to Tricia's house being filled to the brim of delightful dolls, quilts and all things country.

It was Tricia's husband Mark (due to being sick of things lying and hanging around the house) suggested that she open a craft shop!! This idea grew and Almond Grove Crafts was born in May 2000. Since that time they extended the shop many times, relocated to a cottage on their property, added a big classroom for workshops and in 2006 made the big move into a large retail space in town.

Tricia attends workshops herself to extend her skills and keep up to date with the latest trends and products. Her wide variety of fabrics and craft supplies keep her customers coming back.
